Concept design for a complete overhaul of an existing, aging small hotel located near Waikiki Beach. The scope of work focused on expanding the existing small lobby to include a new restaurant, a brand new amenity deck and redesign of all 149 rooms. Some of the biggest challenges/opportunities were thinking about how the hotel could be a destination for tourists and locals alike and how to provide different ways guests bcan flow through the space that encourages maximum activity on the ground floor and on the amenity deck.
