A quiet retreat in the desert - designed to focus on outdoor living. Two bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, living room, outdoor dining, wood deck, outdoor plunge tub and a covered veranda.

What started as an exercise on size restraint by using the footprint of two containers, evolved into a deeper exploration of how we live and what is essential to a home.The question became, if space is luxury then how do we create a home for under 1000 square feet that feels luxurious? The end result is a design that distilled each room to its core and expressed through thoughtful material choices and a focus on the relationship between inside/outside.
